It’s getting colder which means it’s time for our 4th Annual Making Spirits Brighter Holiday Donation Drive!!!

 

A heartfelt initiative designed to spread joy and support to underserved children and families during the winter season. This annual event brings together community members, local businesses, and organizations in a spirit of generosity and compassion, ensuring that every child experiences the warmth and magic of the holidays.

 

As we embark on this year’s drive, we invite you to join us in making a difference. We will be collecting a broad range of NEW/NEVER BEEN USED items again that will be organized, grouped together and distributed to the youth who need it most in our local shelters, foster homes & schools across Northern Nevada.

 

Your contributions—whether in the form of monetary gifts, in kind donations, or volunteer time—will directly impact the lives of children in need, offering them the chance to briefly escape the cold reality of their own, often difficult, circumstances to enjoy some peace, happiness and warmth during these extra challenging winter/holiday months.

 

We have angel tree ornaments & donation boxes available for local businesses that would like to participate in a larger capacity, as well as the option to utilize our virtual giving tree.
 

Our goal this year will be to collect enough (physical & monetary) donations to be able to provide ‘Christmas Care Packages’ to more than 500+ kids across Northern Nevada, as well as help stock the supply closets of as many local shelters and foster homes as we can with the much needed supplies that they can utilize and pull from throughout the year.
